A unique opportunity has arisen to lead a small team in a rapidly developing and forward-thinking Town Council following the early retirement of our long serving Clerk.

You will need to be an inspirational, creative, and forward-thinking, proactive individual who will support our elected members, assisting them to deliver their vision.

It is expected that you have previously worked in local government and that you hold the Certificate in Local Council Administration but if not, you must be willing to undertake the training in the first year. 

Salary: SCP £39,493 - £42,503

Hours: Permanent 37 hours per week (including some evening working reflected by the salary package) and an opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.
