On 25th March, the Government issued a Written Ministerial Statement confirming its decisions regarding Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) in Suffolk.
The Government has confirmed that the three-unitary model for Suffolk will proceed including a boundary change to expand the size of Ipswich.
SALC have been a key stakeholder in this process from the start and will be refining and moving forward representations and initiatives now this decision has been made. We will be providing timely updates and looking for opportunities to influence and shape change.
