Hours
This role will be an annualised hours contract which means that the contract will be for 300 hours over the year however the hours will vary depending on the season so flexibility is essential. The average working week would be five hours however there may be some weeks where you may work ten hours and others where you may not work at all. With the exception of relief cleansing cover the times of work will be flexible and agreed between the individual and the council.
Salary
The individual employed will commence work of SCC salary point 2 which is currently £11.62 per hour. Salary will be paid on an annualised basis divided across twelve equal payments. Any overtime will be agreed in advance and be paid one month in arrears unless it is identified early enough to be included in the current month’s salary.
