SALC climate forum

This is a network of councillors and clerks with a common interest in environmental and climate matters.  The purpose of the group is to provide support that offers opportunities to learn from others as well as creating an avenue to feed into county-wide plans.  We also record our network sessions in case you missed it, want to share it etc.,

Suffolk Climate Action Community Match Funder

Funding is now available for community projects which are tackling climate change and carbon reduction.  

Applications are being invited which is available to charities, community interest companies, parish councils, voluntary groups and other not-for-profit organisations, whose projects contribute to Suffolk's Climate Emergency Plan.

In 2019 Suffolk local authority partners each declared a climate emergency.  They are working together with others across the county and region towards the aspiration of making the county of Suffolk carbon neutral by 2030.  The initiative is known as the Suffolk Climate Change Partnership.   Below is a countdown to this target.
