Welcome to the SALC climate forum

This is a network of councillors and clerks with a common interest in environmental and climate maters.  The purpose of the group is to provide support that offers opportunities to learn from others as well as creating an avenue to feed into county-wide plans.

In 2019 Suffolk local authority partners each declared a climate emergency.  They are working together with others across the county and region towards the aspiration of making the county of Suffolk carbon neutral by 2030.  The initiative is known as the Suffolk Climate Change Partnership.
