Last updated: 18 November 2024 at 14:34:17 UTC by Jim Friend

A parish council consists of the number of councillors fixed by the district council, which must not be less than five. Changes can only be made by the district council.

The proceedings of a council are not invalidated by a vacancy among its members, or by any defect in the election or qualification of any of the members.
