Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner
Precept survey - take part now

One of the most important responsibilities of Tim Passmore, Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner is setting the budget.  Tim Passmore must ensure that Suffolk Police have the resources needed to provide an efficient and effective service.

Later this month, Tim Passmore will need to make a decision about the policing element of the council tax precept.  He is planning to ask the Police and Crime Panel to support his proposal to raise the policing element of the precept by £15 a per (for a Band D property) which is essential to maintain an efficient and effective service, and provide the resources needed to manage demand as effectively as possible.

There is an opportunity to take part in a survey to let Tim Passmore know what you think of this proposal.  Please share this with your residents to take part.

Click on this link to complete the survey - deadline is 9 am on Thursday 26 January 2023.
